Gross. I Love It. leans into the strange mix of humour and unease that shapes life for a generation raised amid constant instability. Bright, unruly gestures and off-kilter energy sit alongside moments of drive and clarity, reflecting how satire can become a way of processing what feels overwhelming or absurd. The title of this quirky fanfare carries a double meaning that mirrors my broader approach to music: embracing the strange and unexpected, and finding energy and clarity within it. Twisting melodies and dissonant harmonies are grounded by strong rhythmic momentum and vivid orchestration, embracing chaos rather than fighting it.
