Binary Ties

Binary Ties takes its name from the two melodic lines that intertwine to form the piece’s core, often twisting into complex knots. The title also reflects the contrast between division (‘binary’) and connection (‘ties’) that runs throughout the work. While the music constantly evolves, it always returns to these unifying themes, which are reshaped and revisited as the piece unfolds.
