Twitch

Twitch is about the unpredictable and irregular, taking a small set of musical ideas and transforming them in unexpected ways. Familiar motifs are shifted and displaced, constantly evolving to keep the listener off balance. The piece is loosely inspired by natural shifting patterns — like sudden physical twitches and bird calls — that mix repetition with surprise.
